GuideMyHome AI ("we", "us") builds a homeowner assistant that identifies items in and around your home from photos, voice, or typed questions. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication metadata when you create an account.
• Content you submit: photos, voice recordings, and text questions you send to the AI to answer.
• Answer history: the AI responses and any items or maintenance notes you save to My Home.
• Home profile you provide: home type, climate tags, and reminders preferences.
• Basic usage data: counts of identifications used, for tier limits and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To answer your question by sending it to our AI provider (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway).
• To save your history so you can revisit past identifications and personalize reminders.
• To enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse.
• To improve the app in aggregate (never to sell personal data).

Sharing

We share submitted content with our AI provider only for the purpose of producing your answer. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your content for advertising.

Retention

Your saved history remains until you delete individual items or your account. Anonymous trial sessions are retained only as long as needed to enforce free limits.

Your rights

You can delete individual answers from your history, or delete your entire account (including all associated data) from the account deletion page. To request a copy of your data or ask a question, email support@guidemyhome.app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
